Here's who I am & what I do
I'm a UX/UI designer with over 8 years of experience in crafting user-centered digital products, particularly in the SaaS industry. My background in both art and engineering allows me to merge creativity, logic, and empathy in my design approach. I engage in a hands-on, strategic process that includes user, ideation, prototyping, and seamless collaboration with developers, aimed at addressing real challenges through impactful design.
I am passionate about accessibility, lifelong learning, and knowledge sharing through mentoring, public speaking, or thought-provoking conversations about design. I thrive on user collaboration and value feedback that advances ideas. I excel in agile, collaborative settings where design choices are guided by research, clear objectives, and a unified vision.
Outside of my work, I contribute energy, curiosity and a positive attitude to every team. I prioritize good design practices, advocate for effective methods, and support others' growth. Whether I'm leading a workshop, fine-tuning a prototype, or presenting to stakeholders, I aim to make the design process transparent, inclusive, and meaningful.
My journey to becoming a designer
Like many kids from the 90s who graduated from Engineering college, I initially pursued a career in my core industry but ended up working as a Software Engineer for an IT service company. Although I was capable of software development, it wasn't my passion. Nevertheless, I took the plunge and started as a junior developer, training to become a Mainframe Developer, where I performed well. It was during this time that I recognized I was neglecting my creative side. I ventured into various creative pursuits like storyboarding, captioning, and dubbing.

While I didn’t fully commit to any one job, I sought to channel my fresh graduate energy into something meaningful. My engineering background always intrigued me, and I was in search of the right fit That’s when I discovered the world of UX UI design, where I could blend my creative talents, software development knowledge, and social skills. Before I knew it, I was enrolling in UX UI design courses and internships, paving the way to who I am today.
My portfolio showcases my creative and technical skills as a UX UI Designer. I use a range of techniques and tools such as user research, customer journey mapping, prototyping, story mapping and A/B testing to create engaging experiences.
I aim to produce high quality designs that are both visually appealing and user friendly. I strive to understand user needs and design solutions that are innovative, creative, and user-centered.
